Sponsorship

As a members’ organisation we are dependent on our members both corporate and individual to provide us with support both to maintain and to build our activities.

We price events to cover costs so we rely on other support to assist with the day to day running of the organisation.  Our target, to cover those costs, is c £20,000 per annum which allows us to maintain our activities and over time, to increase the scope of those activities.

Your support is both necessary and appreciated. For more information on corporate sponsorship either for Wales in London or for specific events contact walesinlondon@gmail.com

Wind, Water, Wylfa and Work - Wales’ Low Carbon Energy Future

Location : Eversheds LLP, One Wood Street, London, EC2V 7WS
Start Date : Tue 15/10/2013 18:00
End Date : Tue 15/10/2013 20:30

Wales in London and Eversheds are delighted to present an evening of thoughtful discussion and insight into the present state and future development of the low carbon energy sector in Wales.

Delivering a secure, affordable and sustainable supply of energy is one of the most crucial challenges facing all governments.  The investment choices being made now, will fundamentally affect not only the supply of energy, but the potential for economic growth and job creation in the UK.  This is particularly true in Wales with its significant renewable energy resources, and plans for additional nuclear generating capacity on Anglesey.

The Secretary of State for Wales, The Rt. Hon David Jones MP, will deliver a keynote opening address.

A brilliant panel of distinguished guests will present their views from the top of key stakeholder organisations in Wales, followed by an open discussion on this fast-moving and crucially important sector. Refreshments and canapés will be served after the discussion.
