The Barristers Court, Browns Covent Garden, 82-84 St Martins Lane, Covent Garden, London, WC2N 4AG.
On Wednesday 17th May we welcome our special guest Ambassador Carlos Sersale di Cerisano, Argentina Ambassador to UK to speak at the second of our Spring Dinner events.
His Excellency will speak on Argentina: the country, its culture, what distinguishes Argentina from the rest of Latin America and key issues that characterise Argentinian politics, what are its historical roots, and what impact this has on modern Argentinian political life.
In the early 20th century Argentina was a major centre of UK industrial investments over a range of sectors. From the 1950s the UK more or less ignored Argentina. Now of course, Argentina comes into its own as a potential trading partner post BREXIT. There are historical, cultural and language links between Argentina and Wales. What advantages can we take of this in a post BREXIT world?
We invite you and your friends to dinner and drinks at The Barristers Court, Browns Covent Garden, 82-84 St Martins Lane, Covent Garden, London, WC2N 4AG where guests will gain greater insights into the Argentinian political scene, and its key influences.
We have arranged for a recital of Welsh songs with an accompanying violinist. The singer Mari Morgan-Rees represented Wales at the Cardiff Singer of the World and a notable winner at the Royal National Eisteddfod.
The evening will start at 6.30pm and include a two course dinner with wine / beers for £55 per person.
Table bookings of 6, 8 or 10 are also available
