Miroslav WLACHOVSKÝ, was born on 3rd February 1970 in Bratislava. He is married with one son. He was educated in Bratislava and at the Faculty of Philosophy, Comenius University. His work experience: 1994-1995 Head of Editorial Department, Editor-in-Chief of quarterly International Issues, Slovak Institute for International Studies. 1995-1998 Director of the Research Centre, Slovak Foreign Policy Association. 1998-2001 Director of Analysis and Planning Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic. 2001-2003 Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Mikuláš Dzurinda. 2003-2005 Head of the Political Section, Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Washington, DC. 2005-2007 Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Washington, DC. 2007-2009 Analysis and Planning Department, Director of Strategic Planning Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic. 2009-2011 Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the International Organisations in Vienna, Senior Human Rights Expert. 2011- Present Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
